Judge’s comments: “A clever use of a hand saw to create a sculptural form.  The metal and wooden handle are echoed in the subjects themselves – post and rail fence and the tractor.  The positive/negative silhouette ranges from small to wider at the handle whose shape is echoed in the adjacent tree.  Even the grasses echo the teeth of the saw at its cutting edge.”
