Having trouble painting convincing trees and showing depth in your landscapes?
Maxine will show you how to achieve this… with some small drawing and wash exercises first, followed by a more developed watercolour painting, selected from the images she will supply. With the Hans Heysen exhibition currently in Melbourne, we can all learn from his beautiful tree portraits.
Texture, Shape and Colour Values will be our focus, using the watercolour techniques of Wet In Wet, Drybrush and Lifting Off.
Maxine will also bring in some of her landscape paintings and drawings for you to view up close.
