Within the course we will cover basic oil painting techniques with a special emphasis on the use of colour and the importance of brushwork. These classes are open to Advanced as well as Beginner Artists. As such each student will be assigned tasks which are best suited to their abilities. There will be short demos throughout the course to enhance the learning experience.
LEVEL: Beginner to Advanced
BRING: Oil paints, brushes, palette, primed canvas or board, shirt or smock
THE TEACHER: Wendy Lindrea has a BA (Mon.) majoring in Visual Arts and has attended courses at Tafe in Drawing, Painting and Design. She has years of teaching experience and enjoys sharing her knowledge and love of art with aspiring artists of all ages.
